Morning Recap | Four Games Across CCHL Region Friday

 

OTTAWA, ON – There were four games across the region on Friday which saw wins coming from the Hawkesbury Hawks, Navan Grads, Brockville Braves, and Smiths Falls Bears.

 

F | HAWKESBURY 4 CORNWALL 2

Cedric Theodore, Holden Doggett, Jeremie Payant, and David Goyette tallied markers for the Hawks, while Connor MacKenzie finished with 26 saves to pick up the win. Scoring for the Colts were Brayden Bowen and Jake Rozzi, while Jackson Parsons turned aside 33 shots in the losing effort.

 

F | BROCKVILLE 3 KEMPTVILLE 2

Parker Casey, Luke Tchor, and Liam Goreski found the back of the net, while Will McEvoy and Brandon Abbott split duties between the pipes to share the win for the Braves. For Kemptville, Gavin Wood and Hunter Brazier scored the goals, while Jonathan Lemaire made 29 saves in the loss.

 

F | NAVAN 3 ROCKLAND 1

Joel Pavey led the way with 2 goals, Mason Goldie added a single, while Mathieu Chenier finished with 34 saves in the Grads net for the win. Rockland got their lone goal of the game off the stick of Justin Dauphinais, while Jean-Philippe Tourigny finished with 41 saves.

 

F | SMITHS FALLS 6 RENFREW 4

Cade Helmer and Sean James tallied 2 goals apiece, while Hunter Brown and Finnegan Kilmurray also scored goals to help lift the Bears to a tight victory. Scoring for the Wolves were Tyson Phare, Guillaume St-Onge, Tyson Tomasini, and Will Larsen.
