Morning Recap | Five Games and a lot of goal scoring Friday night

 

Ottawa, ON – Five games of action through out the CCHL on Friday night saw victories from Brockville, Hawkebsury, Smiths Falls, Kemptville, and Rockland.

 

F | BROCKVILLE 5 NAVAN 4

Scoring for Brockville were Justin McRae, Josh Spratt, Benjamin Dirven, Mathieu Halle, and Sam Allison, while Jake Begley made 30-saves as the Braves improved to 8-4-3-0 on the year. Navan fell to 6-10-0-0, getting goals from Alex Robert, Curtis Fabbro, Jean-Sylvain Boyer, and Mason Goldie, while Alex Wisco finished with 19-saves in the loss.

 

F | HAWKESBURY 5 KANATA 2

Brendan McCarthy, Jeremie Payant, Jeremy Quesnel, Evan Johnston, and Luke Grainger tallied goals, while Mathieu Chenier made 28-saves as Hawkesbury won their fourth in a row and improved to 11-6-0-0 on the season. Kanata dropped to 9-5-0-1, receiving goals from Jordan Morgan and Trevor Poeze, while Vincent Bujold-Roux made 24-saves.

 

F | SMITHS FALLS 5 CORNWALL 1

Theo Todd, Ryan Richardson, Andre Simard, Noah Adams, and Cameron McLean all found the net, while Victor Desjardins made 26-saves as Smiths Falls improved to 6-8-0-1. Cornwall fell to 3-12-0-1 on the year,

F | KEMPTVILLE 3 CARLETON PLACE 2 OT

Easton Ryan and Chase Lammi scored in regulation, Ryan Pawlikowski netted the OT winner, while William Anderson finished with 38-saves as Kemptville improved their season record to 6-7-2-0. Carleton Place, who fell to 15-3-1-0, had goals from Cameron Patton and Ayo Adeniye, while Addison Lawrence made 31-saves in the losing effort.

 

F | ROCKLAND 8 PEMBROKE 2

Noah Doyle, Matthew Vermaeten, and Jake Sullivan scored two goals apiece, Cameron Scrivens and Cameron Last added singles, while Cyrus Martin made 26-saves as Rockland improved to 11-4-0-0. Pembroke saw their record fall to 9-9-0-0.
