Hawkesbury, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League Top Prospect Team was firing on all cylinders Tuesday night at the Robert Hartley Sports Complex in Hawkesbury, ON as they defeated the Berlin U20 squad by a 6-1 score.
Jeremy Quesnel (3G), Cameron Last, Simon Labelle, and Yanic Crete all found the back of the net, while Joshua Ward and Cyrus Martin split the goaltending duties as the CCHL Top Prospects were too much for Berlin to handle.
The Berlin U20 team was coming off a 5-2 victory over CCHL2 Whitewater and a 4-3 OT victory over CCHL2 Alexandria prior to facing the top prospects from the CCHL. They will next face the Arnprior Packers of the CCHL2 on Wednesday night before they fly out to Texas to finish their North American hockey tour.
