Morning Recap | Braves, Hawks, Canadians, and 73’s Friday winners

 

Ottawa, ON – There were four games across the CCHL on Friday night which saw victories coming from the Brockville Braves, Hawkesbury Hawks, Carleton Place Canadians, and Kemptville 73’s.

 

F | BROCKVILLE 4 SMITHS FALLS 2

Josh Spratt, Dalton Dunn, Mathieu Halle, and Ryan Gillespie were the goal scorers, while Jake Begley made 22-saves as Brockville improved to 5-3-3-0 on the year. Tate Leeson scored both goals for Smiths Falls, while Jake Smith made 28-saves in the loss as the Bears fell to 2-7-0-1.

 

F | HAWKESBURY 8 ROCKLAND 4

Dovar Tinling had a huge 5-point (1G, 4A) game, Jeremy Quesnel (2G, 1A), Evan Johnston (1G, 2A), Zachary Lefebvre (1G, 2A), Matt Gasuik (1G, 1A), Patrick Callahan, and Azzaro Tinling all found the net, while Mathieu Chenier made 41-saves as Hawkesbury improved to 7-5-0-0. Rockland fell to 7-4-0-0, getting goals from Simon Labelle, Gunnar Smith, Matthew Vermaeten, and Joe Jordan. 

 

F | KEMPTVILLE 6 PEMBROKE 4

Carter Vollett (2), Easton Ryan, Hunter Brazier, Jeff Taylor, and Gavin Wood tallied goals, while William Anderson made 22-saves as Kemptville improved their season record to 3-6-2-0. Pembroke had goals from Jack Stockfish, Fletcher Anderson, Brady Egan, and Nicolas Guillemette responded for Pembroke, who fell to 7-4-0-0.

 

F | CARLETON PLACE 4 CORNWALL 1

Ryland Mosley scored two goals, Steven Townley and Caleb Kean added singles, while Addison Lawrence made 19-saves as Carleton Place improved to 13-1-0-0. Cornwall fell to 3-7-0-1, getting their lone goal from Sam Gaudreau, while Rico Dimatteo made 19-saves in the losing effort.
