Morning Recap | Colts and Nationals victorious Thursday

 

Ottawa, ON – Just two games of CCHL action on Thursday saw the Cornwall Colts and Rockland Nationals picking up wins.

 

F | CORNWALL 4 NEPEAN 3 OT

Emerick Nadeau scored twice, Kobe Tallman also found the net in regulation, and Cedric Matte scored the OT winner, while Jakob Robillard made 24-saves for his first career CCHL victory as Cornwall improved to 3-6-0-1 on the season. For Nepean, Josh Shimizu, Evan Boucher, and Jack Miles scored, while Tyler Laureault 30-saves as the Raiders fell to 1-10-1-1.

 

F | ROCKLAND 5 KANATA 3

Noah Doyle, Matthew Vermaeten, Gunnar Smith, Daniel Menges, and Jack Sullivan scored goals, while Cole Hudson made 18-saves as Rockland improved their record to 8-2-0-0. Kanata, who fell to 7-4-0-0, had goals from Julian Recine, Paul Larabie, and Lukash Matthews, while Vincent Bujold-Roux made 43-saves in the losing effort.
