Morning Playoff Recap | Canadians top Nationals, advance to Bogart Cup final

 

Ottawa, ON – In the lone Sunday afternoon Bogart Cup playoff match-up, the Carleton Place Canadians defeated the Rockland Nationals to advance to the Bogart Cup finals where they will meet the Ottawa Jr Senators for the fourth straight season.

David Gagnon scored twice, Brett Thorne and Peyton Francis also had markers, while Connor Murphy made 18-saves as Carleton Place eliminated Rockland in 5 games to advance to the Bogart Cup final.

Scoring for Rockland was Cameron Scrivens, while Joseph Giacobbo made 16-saves in the loss.

The Canadians are now set to face the Ottawa Jr Senators for the Bogart Cup. Schedule announcement coming.
