Morning Playoff Recap | Canadians, Jr Senators, and Nationals all Game 1 winners

 

Ottawa, ON – Sunday afternoon saw three of the four CCHL Quarter Final Series kick off as Carleton Place, Ottawa, and Rockland all picked up Game 1 victories.

 

F | CARLETON PLACE 4 NAVAN 1

David Gagnon, Andrej Hromic, Ayo Adeniye, and Ben Tupker all tallied goals, while Connor Murphy made 17-saves as Carleton Place went up 1-0 in their best-of-seven series Vs the Navan Grads.

Jesse Lycan had the lone goal for Navan while Alex Wisco finished with 30-saves.

Game 2 goes Monday night in Navan at 7:30PM.

 

F | OTTAWA 3 KANATA 0

Andrew Remer, Owen Cole, and Connor Smart found the back of the net, while Francis Boisvert finished the 18-save shutout as Ottawa went up 1-0 in their best of seven series Vs Kanata.

Gabriel Carriere made 27-saves in the Lasers net.

Game 2 goes Wednesday night in Ottawa at 7:30PM.

 

F | ROCKLAND 3 HAWKESBURY 2

Aidan Hilton, Gunnar Smith, and Matthew Vermaeten scored the goals, while Joseph Giacobbo made 29-saves as Rockland took a 1-0 lead in their best of seven series Vs the Hawks.

Matthew Titus and Jeremie Lavallee responded for the Hawks, while Matthew Petizian finished with 27-saves in the losing effort.

Game 2 goes Tuesday night in Hawkesbury at 7:30PM.
