Morning Playoff Recap | Canadians squeeze out double OT victory over Grads

 

Ottawa, ON – In the lone Bogart Cup playoff game of the night, the Carleton Place Canadians squeezed out a 4-3 double OT win over the Navan Grads.

Elliot McDermott, David Poirier, and Andrej Hromic scored in regulation, Reece Bolton netted the double overtime winner, while Connor Murphy made 38-saves as Carleton Place took a 2-0 best of seven series lead on Navan.

Scoring for the Grads were Seva Losev, Alex Robert, and Jackson Arcan, while Alex Wisco made 42-saves in the losing effort.

Game 3 goes Wednesday night in Carleton Place at 8:15pm.
