Jr. Sens acquire former 67 David Pearce

Ottawa, Ont. — The Ottawa Jr. Senators made a sizeable splash on Thursday morning, as they acquired forward David Pearce from the Kanata Lasers in exchange for prospect Daniel Lambert and a PDF.

The 1998-born Pearce appeared in 94 games with the OHL’s Ottawa 67’s over the last two seasons, and is expected to be an immediate impact player for Martin Dagenais’s Jr. Sens.

The Barrie, Ont. native previously played in the CCHL with Kanata; Pearce notched 18 points (7G, 11A) in 39 games with the Lasers in 2015-16.

Lambert, a 2000-born defenceman from Maryland, spent last season on the prep circuit with Northwood.
