HAWKS COLE SKINNER COMMITS TO PORTAGE COLLEGE

The Central Canada Hockey League & Hawkesbury Hawks are pleased to announce that Goaltender Cole Skinner has committed to attend the Portage College Voyageurs Hockey Program in Lac La Biche, AB for 2016-17.

The 21-year old native of Lunenburg, NS spent the past three seasons in the CCHL as a member of the Kanata Lasers, Smiths Falls Bears, and most recently the Hawkesbury Hawks.  In 107 total games played, Skinner posted a 46-40-0-6 record to go along with two shutouts.

Before his time in the CCHL, Skinner played Minor Hockey for South Shore in Nova Scotia.

At 6-2, 180 lbs, Skinner has good size to cover up openings from many different angles.  He has a strong compete level and his consistency is getting better with the more experience he earns.  Has very quick feet and good lateral movement and does a good job eating up pucks and not laying out rebounds.
