Cumberland downs Gloucester, 5-2

 

Joey Sollazzo tallied two points to lead the Cumberland Grads to a 5-2 victory over the Gloucester Rangers.

 

Cumberland forced Gloucester goalie Cedric Hansen to work between the pipes, taking 52 shots.

Cumberland additionally got points from Adam Dauda, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Cumberland included Grant Hebert, Martin Frechette, and Zach Rodrigue, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for Cumberland were Tyler Barban, Shawn Cameron, Raphael Larose, Branden Makara, Michael Larose, Benoit Villeneuve, Simon Besner, and Costa Georgitsos, who each chipped in one.

The Rangers excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances.

Ryan Coughlin rejected 28 shots on goal for the Grads. Cumberland incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Hansen recorded 47 saves for Gloucester. The Rangers incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
