Excitement is building for the World Junior A Challenge, an international hockey showcase that will take over the Cornwall Civic Complex – home of the CCHL’s Cornwall Colts – from December 11-18.
The tournament will see some of the world’s top Junior A hockey players will take to the ice and compete for gold for their country. Five teams – Canada East, Canada West, USA, Sweden and Latvia – will face off for gold on Cornwall ice.
Hockey fans can expect a great display of skill and talent. The World Junior A Challenge has showcased more than 300 NHL draft picks over the years – names like Makar, Boeser, Lindholm, Pastrnak, Schwartz, Tarasenko, Turris and Vasilevski to name but a few.
“Fans will be treated to highly-skilled, fast-paced hockey that includes future stars of the game competing for a gold medal on the international stage,” said Lorne Taillon, chair of the local organizing committee. “It’s a great opportunity to see some storied hockey rivalries right here on home ice.”

Single game tickets
Single game tickets are now on sale for the tournament. Don’t wait to get yours! Tickets are $10 for the pre-tournament games, $16 for the round robin games, $19 for the semi-finals and $20 for the bronze & gold medal games (children under 3 are free).

Ticket packages
A variety of ticket packages are available ranging from the entire tournament ($189 for 17 games), evening round robin games ($87 for 6 games), opening day ($32 for 2 games) and more!

Group sales

Minor sports team fundraiser
Enjoy a great night of hockey at the World Junior A Challenge with your minor sports team and raise some funds for your team at the same time!
It’s easy – buy tickets to a round robin game for your team (players, coaches, families, relatives) and $2 from every ticket will go back to the team.
One lucky team will win a Hockey Prize Pack that will include 1 hour of ice in 2023 and a Pizza Party for 20 (minimum entry is 30 tickets or more sold).
