RENFREW, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League and Renfrew Wolves are pleased to announce that 2002 born Kanata, ON native Charlie Johnson has committed to USPORTS Nipissing University.
Johnson recently completed his third season of junior hockey with the Wolves where he totaled a team-leading 58 points (29G, 29A) in 54 games of action. He finishes his CCHL career with 90 points (44G, 46A) in 125 games played.
Prior to his time in the CCHL, Johnson spent two seasons with the Kanata Lasers U18 AAA program prior to the program relocating to Renfrew. He is a product of the Myers Automotive AAA and Kanata Blazers AA Minor Hockey programs.
