Commitment Alert | Lasers Luka Bolduc commits to University of New England

The Central Canada Hockey League and Kanata Lasers are pleased to announce that defenseman Luka Bolduc has committed to NCAA University of New England for the 2020-21 season.

The 2000 born Montreal, QC native recently completed his first and lone season with the Lasers after coming over in an off-season trade from the Timmins Rock of the NOJHL. In 59 games of action, the big defensive defenseman totaled 4 points (1G, 3A). In 145 career junior contests between Kanata, Timmins, and St-Lazare of the QJHL, Bolduc registered 20 points (8G, 12A).

Prior to playing junior hockey, Bolduc spent two seasons playing for CIHA Academy of HEO U18 AAA.

Bolduc is the fourth member of the 2019-20 Lasers to make a college/university commitment, joining Trevor Poeze (Niagara University), Dylan McMahon (Bryn Athyn College) and Liam Markhauser (University of Ottawa).
