Commitment Alert | Hawks Mark Cooper commits to NCAA UMass Lowell


HAWKESBURY, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League and Hawkesbury Hawks are pleased to announce that 2001 born Cambridge, ON native Mark Cooper has committed to NCAA UMass Lowell for the 2022-23 season.

 Cooper, who is currently suiting up in his third and final season in the CCHL, has totaled 94 points (21G, 73A) in 126 career games between the Hawks and Carleton Place Canadians. This season, Cooper was named both the CCHL Defenseman of the Year and CCHL Top Graduating Player.

Prior to his time in the CCHL, the two-way defenseman suited up with his hometown Cambridge Redhawks of the GOJHL. He is a product of the Cambridge Hawks AAA Minor Hockey Program.
