Commitment Alert | Hawks Azzaro Tinling chooses University of Vermont

 

Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League and Hawkesbury Hawks are pleased to announce that forward Azzaro Tinling has committed to the University of Vermont for the 2020-21 school year.

The 1999 born Pointe-Claire, QC native is in his first season with the Hawks, where he has totaled 22 points (9G, 13A) in 30 games of action, after being acquired via trade in early November.

“Azzaro has been tremendous for us”, said Hawks Head Coach Rick Dorval. ” His compete level in practice is at the same level as it is in games, which allows him to be successful. He already plays a pro game and is hard to contain down low. When you add his shot to the equation, he becomes a real threat for opponents.” 

Prior to his time with the Hawks, Tinling spent time in both the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL), and North American Hockey League (NAHL). He is a graduated of Stanstead College.
