Commitment Alert | Grads Danyk Drouin commits to University of Ottawa

 

NAVAN, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League and Navan Grads are pleased to announce that 2001 born Casselman, ON native Danyk Drouin has committed to USPORTS University of Ottawa for the 2022-23 school year.

Drouin recently completed his final season of junior hockey with the Grads, where he finished fourth on his club with 51 points (13G, 38A) in 52 games of action. In 80 career regular season and playoff games between the Grads and the Ottawa Junior Senators, Drouin picked up 56 points (14G, 42A) in that span.

Over the course of his junior career, Drouin also spent time with the Oshawa Generals of the Ontario Hockey League and Penticton Vees of the BCHL. He also played one season of local Junior B with his hometown Casselman Vikings of the EOJHL. 

Prior to playing junior hockey, Drouin suited up in HEO U18 AAA with the Ottawa Junior Senators.

He is a product of the Eastern Ontario Wild AAA and Eastern Ontario Cobras Minor Hockey programs.
