Commitment Alert | Canadians Mosley Commits to NCAA Michigan Tech University

 

CARLETON PLACE, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League and Carleton Place Canadians are pleased to announce that forward Ryland Mosley has committed to NCAA Michigan Tech University for the 2021-22 season.

Now in his third full year with the Canadians, the Arnprior, ON native has totaled 129 points (43G, 86A) in 127 games of CCHL action up to this point. He was named a CCHL 1st Team All-Star during the 2019-20 season.

On top of his time with Carleton Place, Mosley has also played internationally on three occasions with Team Canada, suiting up in the past two World Jr A Challenges as well as the 2018 Junior Club World Cup in Sochi, Russia. 

His path with Carleton Place began at the 2015 CCHL Bantam Protected Draft, when he was selected 14th overall out of the Ottawa Valley Titans AAA program. He would go on to play two seasons with the Canadians U18 program in the HEO U18 AAA circuit, scoring 44 goals and totaling 100 points in 97 games, earning league MVP honours in his final season. 

From there, Mosley went on to join the Canadians Jr B program in the Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League for one season, where he was named Rookie of the Year after totaling 118 points (56G, 42A) in 70 combined regular season and playoff games.
