CARLETON PLACE, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League and Carleton Place Canadians are pleased to announce that 2006 born Kanata, ON native Cato Ryan has committed to NCAA Division 1 Clarkson University.
Ryan, who completed his rookie season in the CCHL in 2022-23 with the Canadians, totalled 40 points (15G, 25A) in 60 combined regular season and playoff games. For his efforts he was named to the CCHL All-Rookie Team. He was also named the High School Academic Player of the Year due to his prowess in the classroom.
Prior to his time in the CCHL, Ryan spent one season with the Canadians U18AAA program.
He is a product of the Ottawa Myers AAA and Kanata Blazers AA Minor Hockey Programs.
