CARLETON PLACE, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League and Carleton Place Canadians are pleased to announce that 2002 born Pierrefonds, QC native Brandon Walker has committed to USPORTS York University for the 2023-24 school year.
Walker, recently completed his final season of Junior hockey with the Canadians, where he finished tops among all CCHL blue liners in Goals (21) and Points (50) in 53 games of action, being named CCHL Defenseman of the Year.
In 97 career regular season games, he totalled 76 points (27G, 49A). He would also total 2 points (1G, 1A) in 5 playoff games.
Prior to his time in the CCHL, Walker spent time with Westminster Prep of the USHS-Prep League and also had a brief stint with the Wellington Dukes of the OJHL.
He is a product of the Lac St-Louis Lions AAA Minor Hockey program in Quebec.
