BROCKVILLE, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League and Brockville Braves are pleased to announce that 2002 born Buffalo, NY native Matt Yeager has committed to NCAA Stevenson University in Stevenson, Maryland for the 2023-24 school year.
Yeager, who recently completed his final season of junior hockey eligibility with the Braves after being acquired from the Pembroke Lumber Kings, totalled 28 points (16G, 12A) in 49 games of action between the two clubs. He would also add 4 points (1G, 3A) in 12 postseason match-ups for Brockville.
Prior to his time in the CCHL, Yeager played 1 season for the Northeast Generals in the NAHL, and 1 season for the Islanders Hockey Club in the NCDC.
