CCM Players of the Month – November

Ottawa, Ontario – The Central Canada Hockey League is proud to announce its Top Performers of the month for November.

Hawkesbury Hawks forward, David Jankowski earned himself Player of the Month honours. The Waterloo, Ontario native posted 17 points (6G/11A) over a span of 10 games this month.

“He’s been a role model on and off the ice, being a huge part of our success” said Hawks head coach, Rick Dorval”. He’s taught our young guys how to compete and how to prepare themselves. It’s something that coaches dream about and one of the reason we have had success is because our younger guys have learned a lot from him”.

The NCAA D-1 St. Lawrence University commit has was also award Player of the Week honours after posting five points (4G/1A) in three games last week, en-route to two Hawks wins.

This week’s honourable mentions for Player of the Month go out to Navan Grads forward, Michael Locatelli and to Kanata Lasers forward, Jack Quinn.

Locatelli, 20, posted 8 goals and 16 points over 11 games this month.

Quinn, 16, had 8 goals and 18 points through 9 games in November.

Smith’s Falls Bears net-minder, Bradley Dobson took home the November Goalie of the Month honours. The Moose Factory, Ontario native made 10 starts in the month of November, going 5-3-1 with a 1.66GAA and .944SV%.

“Bradley had a nice turn around month after initially struggling upon return from injury said Bears, head coach Mark Grady. “He has proven he is amongst the elite goalies in the league when he is healthy and on his game”.

Our goalie of the month honourable mentions went out to Ottawa Jr. Senators Connor Hicks and Brockville Braves Justin Evenson.

Hicks, 20, went 6-0 in November posting a 1.06 GAA and a .970 SV%.

Evenson, 19, went 6-1 with a .928 SV% and a 2.24 GAA.

Rookie of the Month honours go out to Kanata Lasers Jack Quinn. He posted 8 goals and 18 points over 9 games in November.

“Jack’s been great for us and has definitely contributed offensively said Laser coach, Nathan Hewitt. “What a lot of people probably don’t get to see is how tough this kid is.  He’s taking high sticks, late hits, high hits, hacks, you name it. He just gets up and keeps on doing what he does best: putting pucks in the net”.

The Ottawa 67’s prospect was also an honourable mention for Player of the Month. He is currently 15th in league scoring with 30 points in 23 games.

Hawks Fletcher Anderson and Nationals Jordan Power received honourable mentions for Rookie of the Month.

Anderson, 17, had two goals and seven points in 10 games this month.

Power, 16, has just five points in 10 games in November.
