CCM Player of the Week | Giovanni Morneau | Rockland Nationals

 

OTTAWA, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce that Rockland Nationals forward Giovanni Morneau is the Week 15 CCM Hockey Player of the Week.

The 2003 born Ottawa, ON native totaled 8 points (7G, 1A) in 2 games of action, helping the Nationals to a pair of victories this past week. On Friday night he notched a hat-trick and added an assist in the Nationals victory over the Cornwall Colts before scoring 4 goals, including the overtime winner in his encore performance on Sunday Vs the Smiths Falls Bears.

On the season, Morneau has totaled 28 points (16G, 12A) in 33 games of action to lead all Nationals skaters. This is his second CCM Hockey Player of the Week Award this year.
