CCHL Recap | Wolves, Grads, and Canadians pick up Sunday wins

OTTAWA, ON – Three games across the CCHL region on Sunday saw the Renfrew Wolves, Navan Grads, and Carleton Place Canadians picking up victories.

 

F | RENFREW 5 NEPEAN 3

Elvis Slack scored twice, Trent Scullion, Brendan Waivada, and Joey Kennelly added singles, while Sebastian Resar made 27-saves as Renfrew improved to 20-10-1-2. Nepean, who fell to 8-22-1-3, had goals from Luke Posthumus, Jackson Barnes, and Curtiss Sturgeon, while Luca Sandu made 38-saves in the loss.

 

F | NAVAN 7 KEMPTVILLE 6

Blake Hall scored a hat-trick, Gabriel Crete scored twice, Owen Parsons and Two D’Addario added singles, while Braedyn McIntosh made 28-saves as Navan improved their season record to 23-9-3-0. Kemptville, who dropped to 12-16-4-1, had two goals from Khaden Henry, singles from Hunter Brazier, Nicholas Bennett, Grady Logue, and Patrick Haughian, while Jacob Biron made 43-saves in the losing effort.

 

F | CARLETON PLACE 5 PEMBROKE 4 OT

Will Soloway scored a hat-trick which included the OT winner, Gino Colangelo and Bill Gourgon also found the back of the net, while Joe Chambers made 23-saves as Carleton Place improved to 20-11-0-2. Pembroke, who fell to 7-20-2-1, had goals from Ryan McNally, Lucas Legault, Cam Hicklin, and Vital Dinis, while Ben Forget made 36-saves in the loss.
