CCHL Recap | Wolves, Grads, 73’s, and Canadians winners Sunday

 

OTTAWA, ON – Four games of action across the CCHL region on Sunday saw victories coming from the Renfrew Wolves, Navan Grads, Kemptville 73’s, and Carleton Place Canadians.

 

F | RENFREW 5 NEPEAN 3

Joe Kennelly, Dylan Paron, Tyson Tomasini, and Noah Vom Scheidt tallied goals, while Yacine Chemrouk made 26-saves as the Wolves improved to 1-1-0 on the season. Nepean, who fell to 0-2-0, had goals from Luke Posthumus, Nolan Mozer, and Jackson Barnes, while Gage Stewart made 34-saves in the losing effort.

 

F | NAVAN 4 BROCKVILLE 1

Tio D’Addario scored twice, Nicholas Bennett and Black Hall added singles, while Braedyn McIntosh made 21-saves as Navan improved their season record to 3-0-0. Brockville, who dropped to 1-1-0, had their lone goal from Zach Biniaris, while Sami Molu made a whopping 48-saves on the losing end of things.

 

F | KEMPTVILLE 4 SMITHS FALLS 3

Devon Savignac had two goals, Benjamin Campeau and Ty Whyte also scored, while Jacob Biron made 33-saves for his 1st career CCHL victory as the 73’s improved to 2-1-0 on the season. Smiths Falls, who fell to 0-2-0 had goals from Sean James, Ty Campbell, and Thomas Gangl, while Will McEvoy made 28-saves in the loss.

 

F | CARLETON PLACE 3 PEMBROKE 2

Brandon Walker, Dylan Pollock, and Christian Berini scored goals, while Joe Chambers made 22-saves as Carleton Place improved their season record to 2-0-0. Pembroke, who fell to 0-2-0, had goals from Matt Yeager and Josh Brady, while Ben Forget made 20-saves in the loss.
