CCHL Recap | Canadians, Braves, Hawks, and Grads win Friday

 

OTTAWA, ON – Four games were on tap Friday night, seeing victories from the Carleton Place Canadians, Brockville Braves, Hawkesbury Hawks, and Navan Grads.

 

F | CARLETON PLACE 3 RENFREW 2

Matteo Disipio, Gino Colangelo, and Dylan Pollock each found the back of the net, Joe Chambers made 37-saves as Carleton Place got their season off to a strong start with the victory over Renfrew. Scoring for the Wolves were Jace Letourneau and Jamie Hylands, while Sebastian Resar made 20-saves in the loss.

 

F | BROCKVILLE 4 SMITHS FALLS 2

Colin Elliott, Kyle Powers, Lucas Culhane, and Luke Tchor tallied goals, while Sami Molu made a whopping 41-saves as Brockville picked up the hard fought victory. The Bears had goals from Riley Thompson and Alec Hamady, while Will McEvoy made 23-saves in the losing effort.

 

F | HAWKESBURY 3 ROCKLAND 2 OT

Jeremy Tremblay and Antoine Dorion scored in regulation, Felix Sauve netted the overtime winner, while Dimitri Pelekos made 28-saves in the victory. Rockland had goals from Kellen Dostaler and Nicolas White, while Hadyn Gould made 27-saves on the losing end of things.

 

F | NAVAN 5 KEMPTVILLE 4

Owen Parsons scored twice, Blake Hall, Michael Urgo, and Gabriel Crete added singles, while Braedyn McIntosh made 24-saves as Navan improved to 2-0-0 on the season. Kemptville received two goals from Carter Vollett and singles from Emile Trottier and Matthew Yakubowski, while Connor Blackwood made 33-saves in the loss.
