Ottawa, ON – After three hard days, we wrapped up our Fall 2023 Showcase. Today; Smiths Falls, Cornwall, Nepean, Brockville, Renfrew and Pembroke end the three days with a win.

F | Smiths Falls 3 Rockland 2 (OT)

Smiths Falls triumphed over Rockland in overtime, securing a 3-2 victory. The first two periods remained scoreless, with both goaltenders making key saves. In the third period, Trevor Faucher and Alex McIntosh found the net for Smiths Falls, while Xavier Laurent netted two goals for Rockland. In overtime, Tyson Parker delivered the game-winner for Smiths Falls. Goaltender Dawson Labre stood strong with 27 saves for Smiths Falls, while Patrick Charente made 29 saves for Rockland.

F | Cornwall 7 Kemptville 2

Cornwall dominated Kemptville with a 7-2 win. The first period saw goals from Adam Walker and Nathan Garner, with Ty Whyte responding for Kemptville. The second period saw Tyler Melvin scoring for Kemptville, but Etienne Lessard and Fernand-Olivier Perron added goals for Cornwall. Perron continued his hot streak with three more goals in the third period. Goaltender Donald Hickey made 27 saves for Cornwall, and Jacob Biron and Braxton Bennett combined for 30 saves for Kemptville.

F | Nepean 5 Carleton Place 3

Nepean secured a 5-3 win over Carleton Place. In the first period, Riley Streska scored for Nepean. William Bouwer responded in the second period for Carleton Place. The third period was action-packed, with goals from Canon Ryan, Jace Benvie, and a rare goaltender goal from Brady McEwan for Nepean, while Carleton Place added two more goals. McEwan made 26 saves, and Ian Vandenberg made 27 saves for Carleton Place.

F | Brockville 7 Hawkesbury 4

Hawkesbury outscored Brockville 7-4 in an intense game. The first period saw goals from Zach Binaries and Liam Cardiff for Brockville and Alexis Billequey and Aidan Stubbings for Hawkesbury. The second and third periods featured a flurry of goals, with Hawkesbury emerging victorious. Brockville’s goaltender Kai Girard made 23 saves, while Dax Easter added 7 saves.

F | Ottawa 0 Renfrew 3

Renfrew shut out Ottawa with a 3-0 win. Jace Letourneau, Dane Carter, and Jayson Algeria all scored for Renfrew. Goaltender Viacheslav Gordeichuk made 33 saves for Renfrew, while Will Mizenko made 28 saves for Ottawa.

F | Pembroke 4 Navan 3 (OT)

Pembroke narrowly defeated Navan 4-3 in overtime. The game remained scoreless in the first two periods. In the third period, Colin MacDougall scored for Navan, while Vital Dinis and Cam Hicklin netted two goals for Pembroke. Ryan McNally sealed the victory in overtime for Pembroke. Goaltender Kevin Jones made 37 saves for Pembroke, and Jaeden Nelson made 29 saves for Navan.
