CCHL Recap | Renfrew Wolves and Ottawa Jr. Senators win Saturday night

OTTAWA, ON – The Renfrew Wolves and Ottawa Junior Senators picked up victories on Saturday evening in the Central Canada Hockey League.

 

F | Renfrew 5 Pembroke 1

Dane Carter gets the Renfrew Wolves on the board in the first period with a power play goal, his fourth in as many games. Pembroke gets on the board in the second period with Cam Hicklin on the power play. Max Gorzelnik for Renfrew gets them up by one in the second period before Jace Letourneau puts them up by two. Third period goals were all in favour of the Wolves both from Mikayil Kahriman. Pembroke goaltender Aiden Pierce made 21-saves and Renfrew goaltender Viacheslav Gordeichuk made 9-saves.

 

F | Ottawa 4 Brockville 3

The Ottawa Junior Senators get the first two goals in the game in the first period from Lucas Leblanc and Mathis Bedard. A quick Ottawa goal to open up the second period from William-Francisco Parent. Brockville responds with two short handed goals from Aidan Carolan and Kayden Buller. Third period first goal from Ottawa’s Justin Murdoch. Brockville answers with a Liam Cardiff goal. Brockville goaltender Zane Spaniol makes 27-saves tonight and Ottawa goaltender Hayden Duncan makes 20-saves for the victory.
