Ottawa, ON – This Friday evening five games were buzzing in the league. From multiple players getting their first goal of the season to an overtime win, games were kept busy.

F | Renfrew 5 Brockville 2

Renfrew secured a 5-2 victory over Brockville in an action-packed game. The first period remained scoreless, but the second period saw goals from Dane Carter (Renfrew) and Lucas Culhane (Brockville). In the third period, Renfrew surged ahead with goals from Jack Dolan and Dane Carter (hat-trick), while Aidan Carolan netted one for Brockville. Renfrew’s goaltender, Viacheslav Gordeichuk, was stellar, making 25 saves, while Dax Easter of Brockville made 27 saves.

F | Navan 2 Smiths Falls 7

Smiths Falls dominated Navan, winning 7-2. The first period saw goals from Trevor Faucher and Matthew Martin-Gaudreault (Smiths Falls). In the second period, Noah Carpenter and Kiki Brown (Navan) responded, but Smiths Falls powered ahead with goals from Jackson Heron, Shaymus Stevenson, Julien Washer, and Davis Hails. Kyle James (Smiths Falls) added one in the third. Navan’s goalies, Jaeden Nelson and Hadyn Gould, made a combined 29 saves, while Dawson Labre (Smiths Falls) made 28 saves.

 F| Pembroke 0 Hawkesbury 3

Hawkesbury blanked Pembroke with a 3-0 win. Aidan Stubbings and Jano Zambakdigan (Hawkesbury) scored in the first period, and Brayden Besner (Hawkesbury) added one in the third. Pembroke’s Kevin Jones made 34 saves, while Caleb Cabot and Dimitri Pelekos (Hawkesbury) combined for 25 saves.

F | Carleton Place 1 Kemptville 2 (OT)

Kemptville triumphed over Carleton Place in a tight battle, winning 2-1 in overtime. Will Soloway (Carleton Place) and Ty Whyte (Kemptville) scored in the second and third periods, respectively. In overtime, Emile Trottier (Kemptville) sealed the deal. Carleton Place’s Ian Vandenberg made 36 saves, and Jacob Biron (Kemptville) stopped 22 shots.

F | Ottawa 3 Rockland 0

Ottawa secured a shutout victory, winning 3-0 against Rockland. Chase Yanni, Alexandre Cote, and Ryder Dagenais (Ottawa) scored in the first and second periods. Ottawa’s Connor Shibley made 21 saves, while Patrick Charette (Rockland) made 24 saves.
