CCHL Recap | Nationals, Colts, Grads, and Junior Senators winners Sunday

 

OTTAWA, ON – Two games across the CCHL region Saturday night saw victories from the Hawkesbury Hawks and Renfrew Wolves.

 

F | ROCKLAND 6 KEMPTVILLE 4

Yanic Crete scored twice, Christian Berini, Jonathan Swyer, Kai Stothers, and Nick White added singles, while Hadyn Gould made 30-saves as Rockland improved to 14-12-2-2 on the season. Kemptville, who fell to 11-14-4-1, had goals from Hunter Brazier, Benjamin Campeau, Matthew O’Doherty, and Grady Logue, while Jacob Biron made 28-saves in the loss.

 

F | CORNWALL 3 NEPEAN 2 OT

Brayden Bowen and Kobe Tallman scored in regulation, Nolan Gagnon scored the overtime winner, while Cameron Hollands made 21-saves as Cornwall improved to 13-18-1-0 on the year. Nepean, who fell to 7-19-1-3, had goals from Jacob Dupont and Anthony Rivard, while Luca Sandu made 43-saves in the losing effort.

 

F | NAVAN 5 CARLETON PLACE 2

Noah Carpenter, Michael Urgo, Owen Parsons, Blake Hall, and Blake Butler found the back of the net, while Braedyn McIntosh made 29-saves as Navan improved to 22-9-2-0. Carleton Place, who fell to 18-10-0-2, had goals from Will Soloway and Mathieu Fehr, while Jackson Pundyk finished with 39-saves in the loss.

 

F | OTTAWA 4 PEMBROKE 2

Massimo Gentile scored two goals, Antoine Gauthier and Vincent Velocci also scored, while Connor Shibley made 24-saves as Ottawa improved their CCHL-best record to 26-5-2-0. Pembroke, who fell to 7-18-1-1, had both goals from Sacha Trudel, while Ben Forget made 33-saves in the loss.
