CCHL Recap | Lumber Kings Win Wednesday Evening

Ottawa, ON – The Pembroke Lumber Kings hosted the Nepean Raiders for a Wednesday night matchup, after 60-minutes the Lumber Kings won 3-2.

The first period saw Pembroke’s Josh Fortier and Cam Hicklin finding the back of the net, giving their team an early lead. Nepean responded in the second period with a goal from Joshua Reid, narrowing the gap. The intensity continued into the third period, with Nolan DeFazio scoring for Nepean, but Pembroke’s Ryan Parent quickly answered back. Goaltender Brady McEwan of Nepean made 29 saves and Kevin Jones of Pembroke stopped 41 shots.
