CCHL Recap | Hawks and Junior Senators win Saturday

 

OTTAWA, ON – Two games of Saturday night CCHL action saw wins from the Hawkesbury Hawks and Ottawa Junior Senators.

 

F | HAWKESBURY 3 KEMPTVILLE 2 OT

Noah Leithman and Jakson Kirk scored in regulation, Alex Fournier was the overtime hero, while Dekon Randell-Snow made 29-saves as Hawkesbury improved on the season to 7-3-1-1. Kemptville, who fell to 3-6-2-0, had goals from Hunter Brazier and Grady Logue, while Jacob Biron made a whopping 48-saves in the losing effort.

 

F | OTTAWA 6 RENFREW 2

Antoine Gauthier scored two goals, Braxton Ross, Owen Hardy, Nicolas Papineau, and Massimo Gentile added singles, while Rorke Applebee made 28-saves as Ottawa improved their season record to 8-3-1-0. Renfrew, who fell to 7-3-0-1, had goals from Joey Kenelly and Blake Armitage in the loss.
