CCHL Recap | Busy Friday Night across the CCHL region

 

OTTAWA, ON – There were five games of CCHL action Friday, seeing victories from Brockville, Hawkesbury, Smiths Falls, Kemptville, and Renfrew.

 

F | BROCKVILLE 7 CORNWALL 3

Zachary Isaacson scored twice, Trent Ledrew, Matt Harvey, Jack O’Rourke, Aidan Yarde, and Luke Tchor scored singles, while Sami Molu made 26-saves as Brockville improved on the season to 4-6-0-0. Cornwall, who fell to 6-4-1-0, had goals from Nathan Garnier, Ethan Montroy and Nolan Gagnon, while Logan Slou made 21-saves in a relief appearance.

 

F | HAWKESBURY 6 CARLETON PLACE 5

Bradley Horner, Thomas Beaudoin, Nathan Gagne, Alex Fournier, Jakson Kirk, and Aidan Stubbings scored goals, while Dimitri Pelekos made 25-saves as Hawkesbury improved on the season to 6-3-1-1. Carleton Place, who dropped to a record of 6-5-0-0, had two goals from Dylan Pollock, singles from Caton Ryan, Loic Prudhomme, and Will Soloway, while Jackson Pundyk made 22-saves in the loss.

 

F | SMITHS FALLS 7 OTTAWA 4

Riley Thompson and Conor Ronayne scored two goals apiece, Garrett Joss, Owen Watson, and Hunter Brown also scored, while Will McEvoy made 31-saves as Smiths Falls won their 7th straight game to improve to 8-3-0-1 on the season. Ottawa, who fell to a record of 7-3-1-0, had goals from Andrew Uturo, James Taylor, Massimo Gentile, and Braxton Ross, while Connor Shibley made 28-saves on the losing end of things.

 

F | KEMPTVILLE 5 ROCKLAND 2

Hunter Brazier, Devon Savignac, Chase Lammi, Nathan Merrett, and Matthew O’Doherty scored goals, while Jacob Biron made 31-saves as Kemptville improved to 3-6-1-0 on the season. Rockland, who fell to 6-2-1-1, had goals from Patrick Lanthier and Kyle Leonard, while Hadyn Gould made 33-saves in a relief appearance.

 

F | RENFREW 5 NAVAN 3

Tyson Tomasini scored twice, Elvis Slack, Joey Kennelly, and Tyson Phare also found the net, while Sebastian Resar made 31-saves as Renfrew improved to 7-2-0-1. Navan, who dropped to 6-3-2-0, had goals from Nicholas Paone, Michael Urgo, and Owen Parsons.
