CCHL Recap | Cornwall Wins Thursday Evening at Home

Ottawa, ON – The Kemptville 73’s travelled to Cornwall for a Thursday night showdown. Which ended in the Colts winning 5-2 after 60-minutes.

In an intense match, Cornwall dominated Kemptville with a 5-2 victory. The 1st period saw an offensive showcase as Ethan Montroy, Etienne Lessard, and Nathan Garnier scored for Cornwall, while Matt Thomas netted one for Kemptville. Cornwall continued their momentum in the 2nd period with Fernand-Olivier Perron finding the net. Kemptville fought back in the 3rd period, with Grady Logue scoring, but Adam Walker’s goal for Cornwall sealed the win. Despite Kemptville’s effort, Cornwall’s strong performance secured the game. Goaltender Jacob Biron showcased exceptional skill for Kemptville, making an impressive 42 saves, while Cornwall’s Donald Hickey stood tall with 21 saves, contributing to their team’s victory.
