CCHL Recap | Colts Take Thursday Evening Game

 

Ottawa, ON – For a Thursday evening matchup, the Cornwall Colts hosted the Brockville Braves for a thrilling 60-minutes. The Colts ended with the 2-points in a 4-2 win.

The first period remained scoreless, setting the stage for an action-packed game. Cornwall’s Brennan Boyce broke the deadlock in the second period, answered promptly by Brockville’s Lucas Culhane. The third period saw Cornwall’s offensive explosion with goals from Ethan Montroy, Fernand-Olivier Perron, and Jacob McLellan. Brockville managed to squeeze in one more goal courtesy of Kimani Eccleston. Goaltenders were the unsung heroes of the game, with Zane Spaniol of Brockville making 30 saves and Xander Miceli of Cornwall impressively turning away 31 shots.
