CCHL Recap | Canadians and Grads Win Tuesday Evening

Ottawa, ON – On Tuesday night, the Carleton Place Canadians hosted the Rockland Nationals, where the Canadians took the game 6-3. As well, the Navan Grads hosted the Smiths Falls Bears, after 60-minutes the Grads won 3-1.

The first period saw goals from Kyle Leonard for Rockland and Caton Ryan for Carleton Place. In the second period, Carleton Place took control with goals from Lleyton McLean, Blake Boudreau, and Thomas Emrietto, while Jeremie Ndeffo and Jaden Davis scored for Rockland. In the final period, Caton Ryan and William Bouwer secured the win for Carleton Place. Goaltender Benoit Forget made 14 saves for Rockland, while Aidan Feddema turned away 23 shots for Carleton Place.

F | Smiths Falls 1 Navan 3

The first period remained scoreless, but action picked up in the second period with Shaymus Stevenson netting one for Smiths Falls, while Noah Carpenter and Danik Marion answered for Navan. In the final period, Gabriel Crete extended Navan’s lead. Goaltender Dawson Labre for Smiths Falls made 36 saves. Jaeden Nelson for Navan, turned away 24 shots.
