Ottawa, ON – The Smiths Falls Bears traveled to visit the Cornwall Colts for a Thursday evening game. After three periods, overtime and a shootout, the Bears came out winning 1-0.

The game saw a defensive deadlock through three periods and overtime, with outstanding goaltending on both ends. Smith Falls’ Quinn Booth broke the silence in the shootout, securing the lone goal. Goaltender Nikolas Trakakis of Smiths Falls made 21 saves, while Cornwall’s netminder Donald Hickey made 27 saves.
