Ottawa, ON – From 60-minutes shootout wins; with five action packed games securing Hawkesbury, Smiths Falls, Pembroke, Ottawa and Kemptville winning.

F | Hawkesbury 4 Brockville 3 (SO)

Hawkesbury secured a thrilling 4-3 shootout victory over Brockville. Hawkesbury’s offense came to life with goals from Remi Gelinas, Alexis Minville, and Aidan Stubbings, showcasing their scoring depth. Wyatt Schmidek sealed the deal with the game-winning goal in the shootout, delivering a well-deserved win for Hawkesbury.

Caleb Chabot, the netminder for Hawkesbury, played a crucial role with an impressive 31 saves, thwarting Brockville’s offensive efforts. Brockville fought valiantly with goals from Owen Watson, Zach Biniaris, and Liam Cardiff, but they fell just short in the shootout.

Dax Easter, Brockville’s starting goaltender, made six saves before being replaced by Zane Spaniol, who recorded 19 saves. It was a closely contested game that kept fans on the edge of their seats, but in the end, it was Hawkesbury who celebrated a hard-fought victory in the shootout.

Their goaltender, Xander Miceli, stood tall with an impressive 32 saves, keeping Cornwall in contention throughout the game.

Smiths Falls responded with goals from Finnegan Kilmurray and Matthew Dimaline, displaying their offensive depth. Goaltender Dawson Labre was the backbone of the Smiths Falls defense, making an outstanding 38 saves to keep his team in the game.

Renfrew displayed their offensive prowess with goals from Dane Carter, Hunter McKnight, Jace Letourneau, and Andrew Morton, making it a closely contested battle. Ethan Dinsdale, Renfrew’s netminder, played a crucial role in keeping his team in the game, making an impressive 35 saves.

Ottawa, however, fought back with goals from William-Francisco Parent, Mathis Bedard, and another from Parent, showcasing their resilience and skill on the ice. Justin Murdoch added another goal, setting the stage for the dramatic overtime period.
