The Nepean Raiders had trouble finding ways to stop the Carleton Place Canadians, which beat Raiders, 4-1.
Andy Sturtz had two goals and one assist to lead Carleton Place. Sturtz scored the first of his two goals at 10:21 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Carleton Place. Nepean put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Carleton Place to score on any of its four power plays. The Raiders could not produce up to their normal offensive output. Nepean averages 3.4 goals per game.
The Raiders were led by Felix Page, who scored the team's only goal. Page scored 19:23 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Carleton Place. Brandon Belding assisted on the tally.
