Canadians, Jr. Sens climb national rankings

Ottawa, Ont. — Another strong week for the Central Canada Hockey League’s elite teams was reflected in the CJHL National Top 20 rankings.

The league-leading Carleton Place Canadians swept their two-game slate against Navan (6-2) and Nepean (4-1), extending their winning streak to 11 games, and were rewarded with a one-spot bump to No. 4 in the national rankings.

The Ottawa Jr. Senators outscored opponents 15-4 over the course of three wins this week, and were rewarded with a three-spot rise to No. 11.

The CJHL rankings are compiled by an independent scouting service, which factors in win percentage, point totals, goal differential and league strength.
