Bogart Cup Recap | Jr Senators take Game 1 over Carleton Place

 

Ottawa, ON – The Ottawa Jr Senators continued their strong postseason play against Carleton Place on Sunday afternoon, picking up a 4-2 road victory to take a 1-0 series lead in the Bogart Cup finals. With the victory, the Jr Senators have now won 5 of their last 6 playoff games against the Canadians and have improved to 9-1 in this years postseason.

Scoring for Ottawa was Owen Cole, Christopher Piche, Noah Rowe, and Ethan Manderville, while Francis Boisevert made 36-saves in the Jr Senators net.

Reece Boton and Henry Enebak replied for the Canadians, while Connor Murphy made 17-saves in the losing effort.

Game 2 goes Monday night at the Jim Durrell Complex in Ottawa at 7:30PM.
