Bogart Cup Recap | Canadians defeat Jr Senators, tie series 1-1

 

Ottawa, ON – The Carleton Place Canadians found their redemption in Game 2 of the Bogart Cup finals as they picked up a hard-fought 4-1 road victory over the Ottawa Jr Senators to tie the best-of-seven series 1-1.

Peyton Francis had a hat-trick, Keenan Reynolds added a single, while Connor Murphy made 29 saves to give the Canadians their ninth win of the postseason.

Bailey Brant scored the lone goal for the Jr Senators, while Francis Boisvert made 15 saves in the losing effort.

Game 3 goes Wednesday night in Carleton Place at 7:30PM.
