OTTAWA, ON – Saturday night saw the Ottawa Junior Senators and Hawkesbury Hawks pick up series clinching victories to advance to the Bogart Cup Championship Series.
SEMI FINAL GAME 5 | OTTAWA 4 RENFREW 0
Simon Isabelle scored twice, Braxton Ross and Julian Recine added singles, while William Desmarais finished with a 23-save shutout as Ottawa knocked out the Renfrew Wolves in Game 5. Renfrew had a 33-save effort from Will Craig in the loss.
SEMI FINAL GAME 5 | HAWKESBURY 5 BROCKVILLE 1
Jeremy Quesnel, Mark Cooper, Jeremy Tremblay, Thomas Cusson, and Kerfalla Toure scored goals, while Matthew Tovell made 27-saves as Hawkesbury finished off the Brockville Braves in Game 5. Brockville had their lone goal from Nicholas Dowling, while Sami Molu made 31-saves in the loss.
