Laval, QC native Brett Magnus was named NCAA Atlantic Hockey Conference Goalie of the Week after leading Sacred Heart University to their first ever sweep of Niagara University this past weekend. In his two weekend starts, the Pioneers Freshman stopped an eye-popping 75 of 76 shots.
Although having a record below .500 at 7-8-2-0, the 21-year olds' .921 SV% and 2.06 GAA are both top 5 in the Conference.
Magnus spent the 2013-14 season as a member of the Nepean Raiders where he went 15-8-2-3 with a 2.84 GAA, .923 SV% and 4 Shutouts.
