ALUMNI: DAUDA NAMED ECAC ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Former Pembroke Lumber Kings & Cumberland Grads star forward Adam Dauda earned ECAC Rookie of the Week honors after totalling 4 assists in two games with Colgate University this past weekend.  Although he has yet to get his first career NCAA marker, he has registered 6 assists in 6 games so far for the Raiders.

The 20-year old Bratislava, Slovakia native officially joined the hockey program after the holidays and has made a strong transition from junior.  Although Dauda was originally scheduled to join Colgate at the beginning of the school year, medical reasons would cause a delay.

After recovering from injuries, Dauda would be dealt from the Pembroke Lumber Kings to the Cumberland Grads and play his first game of the season on October 9th, scoring a goal in his teams 5-2 victory over the Brockville Braves.  He went on to post 11 goals and 37 points in 25 games, with 13 multiple point efforts.
