CCHL Recap | Hawks, Grads, and Wolves win Sunday

 

OTTAWA, ON – Three games of action on Sunday saw victories from the Hawkesbury Hawks, Navan Grads, and Renfrew Wolves.

 

F | HAWKESBURY 4 NEPEAN 3

Alex Fournier, Antoine Dorion, Felix Sauve, and Nathan Gagne scored goals, while Dimitri Pelekos made 31-saves as Hawkesbury improved to 25-13-4-3. Nepean, who fell to 10-32-1-3, had goals from Owen Hardy, Jack Matsukubo, and Luke Posthumus, while Luca Sandu made 40-saves in the losing effort.

 

F | NAVAN 2 ROCKLAND 1 SO

Gabriel Crete scored in regulation, Tio D’Addario scored the shootout winner, while Braedyn McIntosh made 31-saves as Navan improved to 30-11-4-0. Rockland, who dropped to 17-17-4-4, had their lone goal from Jordan Prepszl, while Hadyn Gould made 27-saves on the losing end of things.

 

F | RENFREW 4 PEMBROKE 2

Elvis Slack, Brody Simpson, Noah Vom Scheidt, and Joey Kennelly scored goals, while Sebastian Resar made 26-saves as Renfrew improved their season record to 25-13-3-3. Pembroke, who fell to 8-33-2-2, had goals from Ethan Henry and Josh O’Connor, while Ben Forget made 20-saves in the loss.
