Morning Recap | Five games wrap up the weekend

 

Ottawa, ON – A busy Sunday saw 10 teams in action, with Kanata, Ottawa, Hawkesbury, Rockland, and Carleton Place notching victories.

 

F| KANATA 5 NAVAN 1

Paul Larabie scored two goals, Trevor Poeze (1G, 3A), Luca Nocita (1G, 2A), and Julian Recine also found the back of the net, while Vincent Bujold-Roux made 31-saves as Kanata improved to 7-3-0-0 on the year. Navan saw their record fall to 5-5-0-0.

 

F | ROCKLAND 4 BROCKVILLE 2

Matthew Vermaeten tallied a hat-trick, Cameron Scrivens had a single, while goaltender Cyrus Martin made 26-saves as Rockland improved to 7-2-0-0. Konnor MacCormick and Sam Allison responded for Brockville, while Simon Harkness made 25-saves as the Braves fell to 4-3-2-0 on the year.

 

F | OTTAWA 5 NEPEAN 1

Owen Cole and Zachary Gravel tallied two goals each, Conor Smart also put one home, while Felix Schnell made 26-saves as Ottawa improved to 6-3-0-0. Nepean fell to 1-9-0-1 this season. 

 

F | HAWKESBURY 8 SMITHS FALLS 2

Azzaro Tinling (2), Matt Gasuik (1G, 2A), Dovar Tinling, Jaxon Camp, Xavier Leveille, Jeremie Payant, and Brendan McCarthy all scored goals, while Robbie Nuchereno finished with 23-saves as Hawkesbury improved to 5-5-0-0 this season. Smiths Falls saw their record drop to 1-6-0-1. 

 

F  | CARLETON PLACE 2 PEMBROKE 1

Elliot McDermott and David Gagnon scored goals, while Devon Levi made 26-saves as Carleton Place improved to 10-1-0-0 on the season. Brady Egan scored the only goal for Pembroke, while Reese Proulx made 30-saves as the Lumber Kings fell to 7-2-0-0.
