Simon Labelle Named CCM Player of the Week

Ottawa, Ontario – The Central Canada Hockey League is proud to announce that Rockland Nationals forward Simon Labelle has been named the Week Five CCM Player of the Week.

Labelle, 16, scored three goals and tallied one assist in a 3-0 week for the Nats. The Ottawa, Ontario native played for Rockland’s U18 program last year and collected 15 goals and 41 points in 40 games.

Our Honorable Mentions for the CCM Player of the Week are; Hawkesbury Hawks defenceman Jaxon Camp and Ottawa Jr. Senators goaltender Francis Boisvert.

Camp, 19, scored a hat-trick and tallied an assist on Friday night. The Guelph, Ontario native played in the OJHL last season and has 3 G / 4 A in 11 games with the nine win Hawks.

Boisvert, 19, went 2-0, allowing three goals on 56 shots. On Sunday he made 40 saves on 42 shots against the Navan Grads. Last season, the Blainville, Quebec native posted a 2.00 GAA / 9.22 SV% in 26 games with the Jr. Senators.
