Wednesday Recap | Hawks’ get their 10th win

 

Ottawa, Ontario – The Nepean Raiders and Hawkesbury Hawks met at the Steve Yzerman arena for a 9:00 p.m start time.

The Raiders announced on Tuesday that; Due to ongoing ice issues at the Sportsplex Yzerman arena and the loss of ice due to the tornado a couple of weeks ago, our Wednesday home games will have a 9:00 puck drop with an 8:30 warm up dates affected are Oct 10, 17, 31, Nov 7, 21 and Dec 5.

The Hawks outshot the Raiders 51-27.  Anderson, Crete, Marleau and Fournier had their goals in the win.  Nicolas Elia finished the night with two assists. The Hawks have now won four straight games and are the second team to ten wins, joining the Carleton Place Canadians.

Geoff Dempster scored for the Nepean Raiders in the loss.  He now has six goals and six assists in 12 games.
