It is with a heavy heart that the CCHL announces the sudden passing of former director of broadcasting and communications Chris Messina earlier this month at the age of 32.

“I’m deeply saddened to hear of Chris’s sudden passing,” said CCHL commissioner Kevin Abrams. “His enthusiasm for our league was contagious and his broad smile will be missed.”
Tributes from around the league have begun pouring in on social media.
